Job Title: Strategic Sourcing Manager High Level Statement of the Role The Strategic Sourcing Manager drives continuous improvement to successfully support our customersexpectations relative to quality, delivery, cost reduction, and overall service. High Level Roles & Responsibilities Responsible for global sourcing strategy for electronic components Responsible for continuous improvement to deliver total value: cost management, quality, delivery, speed to market Lead cross cultural, cross functional commodity team(s) to develop and support key strategies Develop long term mutually beneficial relationships with preferred suppliers, drive supplier rationalization activities Work closely with group and Global Quality teams to drive operational excellence with respect to component and product validation, supplier qualification Improve contribution margin and economic profit for all production programs Support Global Quote Center for Request For Quotations, as necessary.
